Twice As Nice

So far being two has not been so bad for Ben.  We had a birthday party for him at the Everett Children's Museum with his cousins Nathan, Kayla, Claire and his friend Atti.  It's a great place to just let the kids explore and enjoy actually being allowed to touch everything.  I did find taking pictures a bit of a challenge since the group was on the move, especially Ben who was dragging Grandma C around to all the exhibits.

Here's a rare shot of them standing still and even here Ben already has his eye on his next target of fun.  Thank goodness for active grandparents who can keep up with this little guy.

At one point all six kids actually were in the same place at the same time.  Nathan (7) standing in the back, backseat Claire (2 1/2), McKenzie (3 1/2), Atti (2 1/2), front seat Ben (2) and Kayla (5).  I think we'll see some more shots of this crew as the years go by.  A big thank you to Aunt Jennifer who is the fastest camera phone user around.  She has caught many a shot that I have missed.

After we played at the museum, we headed down the street for a pizza lunch, presents and cake.  Here he is very excited to get what he thinks is a box, little did he even imagine there would be more fun inside.

Taking a call on his pizza phone.  One of his favorite things to say is "Hel-row?" He will use almost anything as a phone which his teacher tells me is a good thing as it shows he has imagination.  Like I was doubting that!

Mr. Serious about blowing out his candles.  I love how his hand is once again drawn to the fire, just like last years pictures.  He sure has grown in this year.

One messy birthday boy who is such a lucky boy to have so many friends and family come out to share his special day.  Thank you to everyone!
