The original Lego Maniac at work creating his masterpiece, now to work on him understanding that it's not the end of the world if someone breaks your creation to get your pieces.
Our girl McKenzie showing off her palace that she created complete with a walkway up to the from door.
Ben and his house which always includes lots of traps and other assorted features like maybe a set of wheels in the wall for driving.
Here was my contribution to the Lego fun, the small brown pieces were the only ones no one else seemed to be using and I was interrupted quite a bit to help on everyone else's project.
I have already set up the expectation with the kids that if I vacuum up their Lego pieces it will cost them a quarter to get it back from me and my vacuum. So far I've only made 50 cents since I give a lot of warnings but I know as the love of Lego's grows over the years I'll be rich off this plan!

Hi Colleen - I enjoy your blog and learning about your fun adventures and family life. Have you seen the cool Lego books by Sean Kenney? They're available at the library. The titles I've seen are Cool Cars and Trucks, Cool Robots and Cool Castles. The books have easy step by step instructions for creations using Legos you have at home. You might want to check them out. ;)
Have you been to the Lego store at Alderwood yet? Super cool.
